Bajwa Cricket Club earns 1st Twin Cities T20 Super Cricket Championship title

Bajwa Club won the title of first ever Twin Cities T20 Super Cricket Championship 2019 by defeating Decent Tigers CC by 3 wickets in the final being played at Diamond Cricket Ground in Islamabad.

The Bajwa Cricket Club's Under-19 team was able to earn this incredible win over the opponent team; Decent Tigers' Under-19 players  through their star player Mubashir Khan who helped his team earn the title of the championship.

This championship featured a total of seven cricket clubs from the twin cities that is, Islamabad and Rawalpindi and players from their respective teams were seen competing with all their might so as to earn top honors in the championship. This first ever Twin Cities Championship was organized by administrator Diamond Cricket Academy. 

It was a 4 wickets win for the winning team as chasing 147-run target, Bajwa Club reached home in 18.5 overs with Mubashir Khan hitting up 47 runs with 5 fours and 2 sixes and Abdul Fasih 41. Najam Naseer won 3 wickets and Mubashir Khan 2 wickets. While Haider Ali hit 50 runs to help Decent Tigers pile up 147 runs target. 

Former MNA, Mian Muhammad Aslam was the guest of honor who witnessed the final game being played and later awarded the winning team with a prize pursue of 15,000/- while the runners-up received Rs. 10,000. Mubashir Khan was declared Man of the Final along with 2 other titles of "Player of the Tournament" and "Best Batsman" while Najam Naseer bagged the title of Best Bowler and Umair Aziz claimed Best Fielder's title.
