Pakistani boxers dominate PPBF Chaudry Waseem Professional Boxing Show 2019
Moen Khan, Mirza Habeeb, Hadi, Kamran Abdul, Bashir Hussaini and several other boxers won their respective category fights in PPBF Chaudry Waseem Professional Boxing Show that successfully concluded at Amir Khan Boxing Academy in Islamabad.
Pakistan Professional Boxing Federation (PPBF) organized yet another professional level boxing event in the country in which a total of 24 fighters belonging to Pakistan and Afghanistan showcased their talent of this sport in the fights so as to achieve top honors in different rounds of various fights contested that finalized the winner of the show in different categories.
11 Pakistani boxers and 5 Afghanistan's fighters participated in this mega boxing event in which a total of 8 fights in 5 different weight category were contested and all these fights were scheduled for 3 minutes - 4 rounds.
In Super Lightweight
category Moen Khan was battling with Syed Bezad, both Pakistani boxers, for the win in which he did came out to stand as the winner and won against his opponent by the majority decision. While in the second fight in the same category saw Pakistan's Mirza Habeeb as the winner as he won over his Afghani counterpart Shoukat, also by the majority decision. Super Middleweight fight witnessed Hadi and Azhar Mehmood fighting against each other in which Hadi, Afghanistan's boxer, won by
first round knock out.
Lightweight
and Welterweight
winners are both the Pakistani boxers: Kamran Hussaini and Bashir Hussaini as both the fighters won over their Afghani counterparts Saleem Ahmadi and Muhammad Israr by first round knock out and by the unanimous decision , respectively. Another Welterweight winner also stood another Pakistani fighter, Yameen Khan who earned a hard fought victory over his opponent: Ameen Ul Haq who was from Afghanistan, by knock out in the 4th round .
Afghanistan's Jawad Hassan and Rafeeq Khan from Pakistan were up against each other in the first fight of Super Featherweight
in which Jawad Hassan won by 1st round knock out while the other encounter, which was between Muzafar Khan
and Muhammad Mustafa, the winner stood Muzafar Khan by 1st round knock out.
PPBF Hero award was rewarded to
Mr. Liaqat Ali from Kyokushin and the Star performance award went to PPBF Referee Mr. Rehman Saeed.
This event supervisor was Kaleem Ahmed Azad and Referee judges were Muhammad Afzal Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lahore's Rehman Saeed, Muhammad Farooq from Chakwal and Nadeem Dilawar Khan of Rawalpindi. The event
promoter was Jawad Hassan.
As it was a boxing event, the doctors were also present who namely are: Dr. Naeem Ahmed Azad and Dr. Sara.
