Lyari Boxing Club bags 4 gold medals in Pakistan Day Boxing Tournament 2019
About 55 pugilists participated in this two-day Pakistan Day Boxing Tournament 2019 which concluded successfully with several boxers claiming wins at Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Boxing Club in Karachi.
All the Presidents and Secretaries of South, West, East, Central and Malir were informed by General Secretary, Sindh Boxing Association (SBA), Muhammad Asghar Baloch that Pakistan Day Boxing Event 2019 was to be organized by Karachi South Boxing Association (KSBA) in collaboration with Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) for which they were to prepare their respective boxers who were to participate in this two-day boxing event.
The fights were held in both male and female categories in which about 55 pugilists participated and the fighters in their respective categories were seen competing against each other with all their might so as to earn top honors in the event among which Boxing Club of Pakistan and Lyari Boxing Club came out with the most achievements as Boxing Club of Pakistan claimed 3 gold medals in Men category while Lyari Boxing Club bagged 4 gold medals in Women category.
All the fights were contested under the supervision of qualified referee that includes: Nawaz Ali, Gul Muhammad, Noor Badshah, Muhammad Farooq and Fida Hussain.

South Asian Games former gold medalist, Sohaib Rashid was the honorable cheif guest along with Asghar Baloch, General Secretary, Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) and many other respectable personalities affiliated who witnessed these fights.
On the occasion, Sohaib Rashid said," This piece of land, Pakistan, is being earned by the life sacrifices made by the heroes of this nation who served as soldiers and to keep our flag up high, all of us need to make efforts as it is our duty towards our homeland."
