Nishter Club beat Lecole Ballerz to win in NBP Pakistan Day Basketball Tournament 2019
Nishter Club beat Lecole Ballerz 41-37 while inoria Basketball defeated Usman Basketball Club 30-28 to register wins in NBP Pakistan Day Basketball Tournament 2019 which is being played at Arambagh Basketball Court in Karachi.
The first match of the day was played between Nishter Basketball Club and Lecole Ballerz Basketball Club in which both the players seen making a good start but as the match proceeded, Lecole Ballerz Basketball Club players were falling to the strong blocking and high speed from their opponents who then were declared the winners as the final goal went into the basketball. Nishter Basketball Club marked their victory convincingly on a 41-37 score line.
Arham's 21 points along with Talha Amjad's 15 successful shots helped the winning team most to earn this win. Whereas the losing team's players did made efforts to turn the table to their side but fell badly behind even with their star players' Afeefa, Sidra and Asam who each scored 8, 7 and 6 points but still could not earn their team the win in the game.
Binoria Basketball beat Usman Basketball Club 30-28 in a close contest. Syedi Ameen made the difference with 16 points.
While the second encounter, had Binoria Basketball Club and Usman Basketball Club battling it out for their win in which Binoria Basketball Club stood the winner as they won on a close call by 30-28 points. The key player for the winning team proved to be Syedi Ameen who managed the most points; 16. The losing side did try their best as they suffer a close defeat of just 2 points difference but their players were seen playing with good strategy on the court throughout the game and gave quite a hard time to the winning team's players.
Third match of the day witnessed One Unit Basketball Club over-powering Bahria Basketball Club convincingly by 54-32 as the winning team's Nihal and Talal dubbed 16 shots for their team and along with great team work earned their team the win of the match.
