Pakistan's Karate fighters sparkle in 5th Polish European Karate Kyokushin International Tournament
Raza Ullah and Iqra Nazeer secured 1st and 3rd positions in their respective categories in the 2019 Polish European Karate Kyokushin International Tournament which was held at Zombro in Poland.
The 5th edition of Polish European Karate Kyokushin International Tournament was held in a town named Zombro near Warsaw in Poland that featured about a total of 22 countries from around the world in which several fighters took part and show cased their talent in their fights against their opponents so as to win top honors in the tournament.
Among various other, Pakistan's Inam Martial Arts Academy's two fighters namely: Raza Ullah and Iqra Nazeer made the country proud by securing first and third positions in their respective categories.
Renowned full body contact European champion Raza Ullah Khan, son of Shihan Inam Ullah Khan who is the founder of KyoKushin Karate in Pakistan, secured first position in - 90 KG weight category and for the first time in Pakistan's history a female participant Iqra Nazeer entered in a full body contact martial arts international tournament and secured 3rd position in the - 60 KG of weight category.
Kyokushin is a style of stand-up, full contact karate, founded in 1964 by Korean-Japanese Masutatsu Oyama. "Kyokushin" is Japanese for "the ultimate truth". It is rooted in a philosophy of self-improvement, discipline and hard training. It's full contact style had international appeal and practitioners have over the last 40+ years numbered more than 12 million.
