Pakistan wins 12 gold, 16 silver, 14 bronze in Special Olympics World Summer Games 2019
Pakistan have won 12 gold, 16 silver, and 14 bronze medals so far in these games in which Pakistani 92 athletes are participating in 10 sports.
Pakistan’s Imran Arif won bronze medal with the score of 60 in bench press category of Power Lifting on day five of Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi.
Imran also won silver medal with the score of 335 in combined squat, bench press, and dead-lift category. Imran won gold medal with the score of 120 in the squat category, while he won silver medal in dead-lift category with the score of 155.
In athletics, Wahaj Mirza won silver medal with the timing of 00:12:37.22 in the 3000m run category. In the same category, Mohammad Zeeshan also won silver medal with the timing of 00:11:09.43.
In cycling, Mohammad Yasir won silver medal with the timing of 00:25:14.30 in Fin 10k Time Trial category. In Futsal, the female team of the country won bronze medal. Pakistan won gold in unified 7-a-side male/mixed team category by defeating Mongolia 1-0.
