Punjab University Lahore triumph 42nd All Pakistan HEC Women Tennis Championship 2019 trophy
Punjab University, Lahore has won 42nd All Pakistan HEC Women Tennis Championship 2019 at PTF Complex, Islamabad.
Punjab University, Lahore has won 42nd All Pakistan HEC Women Tennis Championship 2018-19 organised by the Higher Education Commission in collaboration with Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF).
Punjab University clinched the title after defeating Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) during the final game. University of Central Punjab, Lahore beat Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan to gain the third position.
As many as 16 universities participated in the championship. Every year, HEC organised 35 men and 25 women sports championships in the recognized universities across Pakistan.
Director General Sports Mohammad Faisal Butt along Senior Vice President of Pakistan Tennis Federation Yurav Hayat graced the concluding ceremony as chief guests and distributed trophy and cash prizes among successful first-second and third-ranked teams while Col. Gul Hussain Deputy Director, HEC Qazi Abid Senior Director, HEC Azizullah Khan were also present there.
