Pakistan Day Boxing Tournament 2019 from 22nd March
Pugilists will compete in about 5 different weight categories in the upcoming fights of 2019 Pakistan Day Boxing Tournament which will be staged from 22 to 23 March at Shaheed Muhtarma Benazir Bhutto Boxing Club in Karachi.
All the Presidents and Secretaries of South, West, East, Central and Malir are informed by General Secretary, Sindh Boxing Association (SBA), Muhammad Asghar Baloch that Pakistan Day Boxing Event 2019 will be organized by Karachi South Boxing Association (KSBA) in collaboration with Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) for which they are to prepare their respective boxers who are to participate in this two-day boxing event.
The fights will be held in both male and female categories and the fighters
in their respective categories will be seen competing against each other with all their power so as to earn top honors in the event.
The fighters to wish to participate must be under the age group of 19 to 40 years as the fights is Senior Class will be contested in ten (10) different weight categories that includes: 49 KG, 52 KG, 56 KG, 60 KG, 64 KG, 69 KG, 75 KG, 81 KG, 91 KG and +91 KG.
Only the age limit of under 14 years of girls are eligible to participate in the Girl category of this event for which the weight categories are being set as 36 KG, 38 KG, 40 KG, 41 KG and 44 KG.
Weight and Draws will be taken on 21st March from 03:00 to 05:30 PM at Lyari Labour Welfare Centre Boxing Club (LLWC) in Karachi and the tournament will begin on 22nd March at 02:00 PM and will continue till the next day. The Karachi Senior Team Will be selected for Sindh Boxing Team Trials to participate in 37th National Boxing Championship which is scheduled to be held from 29th April to 3rd May, 2019 in Islamabad.
