18th National Men and Women Netball Championship from 29th March
As many as 18 teams are to take part in this five-day 18th National Men and Women Netball Championship which is all set to begin from 29th March and will continue till 2nd April at Hamidi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad.
The 18th edition of National Men and Women Netball Championship is all set to roll into action from 29th March and it has been organized by the Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).
According to the announcement made by the President of Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), Mudassar Arian, a total of about 18 teams from all over the country are participating in this five day long championship which is featuring competitions in both male and female categories.
The invitation letters have already been sent to the participating teams which includes: Pakistan Army, Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Police, Higher Education Commission (HEC), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Balochistan, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Islamabad, Lahore Grammar School, LUMS University Lahore, Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan Inter Boards.
Pakistan WAPDA and Sindh teams will be defending their titles in men and women category, respectively as per their achievement in the last conducted edition of the same championship. respectively for men & women categories.
The top five teams will qualify for this year’s National Games which are scheduled to be held in Quetta later in the current year. The final of this championship will be played on 2nd April.
