About 4 clubs were to compete in the matches to be contested in Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) Inter-Club Golf Final Tournament which was due to be held from 15 to 17 March at Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course in Lahore but now has been postponed to a much later time i.e. 2020.

Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) was up for yet another prestigious golf event which was previously held in various rounds held last month in which Rawalpindi Golf Club emerged as champion club of Punjab, while Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Golf Club Peshawar was the leading club of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). As for Federal Territory, the combination of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Golf Club, Islamabad and Garden City Golf Club surfaced as top ones. While Balochistan and Sindh did not pre-qualify.

The 1st Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) Inter-Club Golf Final Tournament was to be contested at Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course from March 15 to 17 which was also to witness the clubs being included for the very first time in this category.

The participating teams were suppose to be comprised of two (2) Professional Golf players, four (4) Amateurs, two (2) Junior Professionals, two (2) Ladies golfers, two (2) Junior Boys and two (2) Junior Girls golfers.

A spokesperson of Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) confirmed the cancellation of the tournament by saying,“This cancellation has been necessitated by the non-availability of participating golfers who were due to compete in the finals. Many of them are occupied in other assignments and hence cancellation became inevitable. Plans are that this championship will now be held in the year 2020,”
