All Universities Zone H Basketball Championship moves to final stage

3 teams qualified for the final stage of All Universities Zone H Basketball Championship which is being staged at Sindh Agriculture University in Tando Jam.

The first semi-final game saw Quaid-E-Awam University Nawab Shah incredible win over LUMS Jamshoro on a final score line 44-30. It was a much deserved victory for the winning team as the players from the opponents side were also making good efforts to earn the place in the final of the tournament as well but failed due to the superb blocking of  Quaid-E-Awam University Nawab Shah players.

Their key players proved to be Hsanain, Sadiq Ali and Hamza who scored top points, dubbing 16 and 12-12 points right into the basket, respectively. Aamir and Iftikhar further enhanced the lead by making 12 and 10 accurate shots, respectively. 

In the second encounter entitled as the second semi-final game,  In the other semi-final, Sindh ISRA University Hyderabad suffered a huge loss by just one point difference of 20-21 as the match ended in SAU team's favor. Balaj was on the top as he scored the most points for his team that is 10. Along with him, Javed and Tabish's 8 points each contributed to earn the team the final spot in the tournament.

However, qut great efforts were seen by the losing side as well but even with Kafeel's 10 and Barkat's 8 points, it seemed not enough to book them a spot in the final of the tournament. 

Now, Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tando Jam and Quaid-E-Awam University (QAU) Nawabshah will battle it out in the only match renaming that will decide upon the title winner of this zonal championship.

The All Universities Zone H Basketball Championship being organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) at Sindh Agriculture University in Tando Jam. 

Dr Aijaz Khuhro, Dean of the Social Sciences Department of SAU was the guest of honor who witnessed the semi-finals being played and was also introduced to the players of the teams who played the matches.
