With enough time on our hands, let’s analyze the PSL points table and see where does team stands. As the table suggests, Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi have already qualified for the top-four finish whereas Multan Sultans are mathematically out of the race. Three teams are now chasing for 3rd and 4th finish in PSL 2019 and the race is between Islamabad United, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.

Islamabad United:
The trophy holders are finding it difficult in PSL 2019 after a run of bad games. The team has not found its rhythm and has struggled to deliver commanding performances.

After a season dominated by injury, Lahore Qalandars still stand a chance to qualify for the top-four. The performance against Peshawar Zalmi, where they reduced the opposition to 20 for 5 should give them hope.
However, they need to ensure that they close down the games quicker and approach them with venom.
