In the match for the ninth position, Pakistan lost to Bangladesh 1-2.
In the first singles, Mahadi Hasan defeated Hamid Israr 7-6(0), 6-1.
In the second singles, Roman Hossain overpowered Hassan Ali 6-7(5), 7-6(6), 10-6.
Pakistan had failed to qualify for the final rounds, having won only one match.
This 10-day competition was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The other participated teams are Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iran, Jordan, Oman, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Turkmenistan.
Pakistan last year won the Asia-Oceania pre-qualifying round of ITF World Junior Tennis Competition.
