7th National Archery Championship gets underway tomorrow
More than 500 archers are up for the title win in the 7th addition of National Archery Championship which starts tomorrow and will continue till 28 February at AL-NADI AL-BURHANI Sports Complex in Karachi.
More than 500 attendees will converge on AL-NADI AL-BURHANI Sports Complex during this mega archery event which is being organized under the supervision of Pakistan Archery Federation and Sindh Archery Association.
The 7th edition of National Archery Championship is not a everyday archery sports competition but is a national level championship which will hold “Olympic style”, at the AL-NADI AL-BURHANI sports complex today.
Participants from all over Pakistan are to emerge in Karachi after they all have gone through tough qualifying rounds of trials in their cities. Previously this event was organized in different cities of Pakistan including Lahore and Peshawar but this time, the city of lights; Karachi and AL-NADI AL-BURHANI Archery Academy has the honorable to hold this prestigious event.
If we look back on the previously champions of this national level championship then Peshawar stands at top with having 4 titles won, two titles of first and second edition of National Archery Championship while two of the 5th and 6th editions. While it was Lahore who broke the chain for Peshawar by winning the 3rd and 4th title of this championship.
Lt. General Syed Arif Hassan HI(M), President Pakistan Olympics Association will be the honorable chief guest who will declare the event open tomorrow.
