In the PSA men final top seed Ahsan Ayaz overpowered compatriot Zeeshan Khan by 3-0 to win the $1,000 Strom 2 Abdel Wahed Squash Open 2019 at Sweden.

Peshawar-born Ahsan won the National Junior Championship 45 times, International Junior Championship 4 times and also has the World Junior Squash Championship title to his name. On the international senior circuit, Ahsan has won 2 international senior squash events.
The winner of 2016 Malaysian Tour IV Championship Ahsan started the match on positive note as he won the first game by 11-8.Top seed continue his aggressive play to win the second game by 11-5.
In the third game Ahsan face fair bit of resistance against second seed Zeeshan Khan but Peshawar-born Ahsan manage to win the third game by 11-9 and won the PSA men title of $1,000 Strom 2 Abdel Wahed Squash Open 2019.
20-years old Ahsan started playing squash at the age of 11 and won his first tournament at the age of 12. Since then, the young squash player has achieved a lot of international success in a short span of time.
Ahsan with a unique and exciting brand of attacking squash is following an illustrious career and is coached by Victor Monserrat at the Barcelona Squash Academy.
Ahsan, ranked 100th, is the winner of 2016 Malaysian Tour IV Championship and ISAM Pro Open 2016. Ahsan, who played 11 events in 2018, will next appear in the $5000 Cronimet Swedish Squash Open in March where he is the top seed.
Zeeshan Khan secured the runner-up spot of $1,000 Strom 2 Abdel Wahed Squash Open 2019 at Sweden. He achieved his highest career ranking of 192 on March 2018 during the 2018 PSA World Tour.
