Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University clinch Inter-College Women Athletic Championship 2019 trophy
Promising upcoming athlete Ayesha Khan guided Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University to win Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Inter-College Women Athletic Championship played here at Qayyum Sports Complex, Peshawar.
Promising upcoming athlete Ayesha Khan guided Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University to clinch the overall trophy by securing 32 points while Govt Girls College Bacha Khan and Frontier College for Women remained at second and third respectively in the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Inter-College Women Athletic Championship played here at Qayyum Sports Complex, Peshawar.
Ayesha claimed the gold medal of 100m, 200m, long jump, silver medals in 400m and discuss throw and bronze medal in Javelin throw. He got overall 22 points and was declared best athlete for the fifth consecutive years.
When she was in the first and second year in Govt Girls College Bacha Khan she become the best athlete and after joining Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University it is for the third time she is winning the best athlete title.
Rani Khan of Bacha Khan Girls College won gold medals in high jump, discuss throw and javelin throw while Kalsoom of the Frontier College for Women also won two gold medals after winning 400m and 800m.
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University won gold medals in 100m, 200m, long jump and 4X100m relay, silver medal in 100m, and discus throw and bronze medals in 800m, high jump and shot put. Govt Bacha Khan Girls College won gold medal in high jump, discus throw, javelin throw and shot put and two silver medals in long jump and relay race and a bronze medal in 200m.
Frontier College for Women two gold medal in 400m and 800m, two silver medals in relay race and 200m, and javelin throw and bronze medals in long jump and discus throw. Government Girls College Nahaqi won two silver medals in 800m and shot put and remained at fourth position.
In the 800m Kalsoom of FCW won gold medal, Khatejah of Gulshan Rehman Girls College Kohat Road won silver medal and Nooreen of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University won bronze medal.
In the shot put Rani of Bacha Khan Girls College won gold medal, followed by Rabia of Gulshan Rehman Girls College and Ayesha won bronze medal. In the 200m Ayseha won gold medal, followed by Maryum of Bacha Khan Girls College and Kalsoom Khan of Frontier College for Women.
In the Javelin throw Rani won gold medal, Kalsoom won silver medal and Nazish took bronze medal. In the 100m Ayseha Khan was declared as the fastest athlete when she grabbed the gold medal in 100m sprint race, followed by Maryum and Kalsoom of FCW.
In the 4X100m relay the team comprising Ayseha, Khullah, Sara and Noreen of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University won gold medal, followed by Girls College Bacha Khan with their team including Rani, Sadia, Sana and Maryum and City Gulbahar team Nazishm Sana, Aiman and Zarafshan won third position.
