Muhammad, Qurat Ul Ain, Arwa & Khizar win 1st Quaid-E-Azam Cup Open Archery Championship
The first ever Quaid-E-Azam Cup Open Archery Championship concluded successfully with Muhammad, Qurat Ul Ain, Arwa & Khizar securing top spots in their respective categories at Sindh Sports Board in Karachi.
The Quaid-E-Azam Archery Academy organized the one-day Quaid-E-Azam Cup Open Archery Championship for the very first time and this championship was contested in the indoor hall of Sindh Sports Board at Nazimabad in Karachi that featured about a total of 82 archers. Championship begun its proceedings from 08:00 AM sharp and concluded at 05:00 in the evening.
This championship was open to all archers as the competitions were contested in both boys and girls categories at a shooting distance of 18 and 10 meters.
The top achievements of the champions who bagged gold medals include: Muhammad and Qurat Ul Ain in Boys and Girls 18 meters category while in 10 meters, Arwa and Khizar won the gold medals. While the silver medals were earned by Haris Naeem, Tabina Faisal and
Hira Fatima in 18 and 10 meters distance category, respectively.
Whereas the bronze medals were claimed by Moiz Mubeen and Nargis in boys and girls 18 meters distance category and Laiba won the bronze medal in 10 meters girls category. Khizar stands the sole winner of 10 meters of boys category.
