South Cup Karachi Boxing Championship 2019 from 27th February
Pugilists from various District Boxing Associations will compete in 2 different age classes in the South Cup Karachi Boxing Championship 2019 which will be staged from 27 to 28 February at Ustad Ali Muhammad Qambrani Boxing Stadium (MABC) in Karachi.
All the Presidents and Secretaries of District Boxing Association (West, East, Central l, Malir) and boxing clubs affiliated to Karachi South Boxing Association (KSBA) were informed by General Secretary Karachi South Boxing Association, Razak Baloch that "South Cup" Karachi Boxing Championship 2019 will be organized by KSBA in collaboration of Sindh Boxing Association for which they are to prepare their respective boxers who are to participate in this one-day boxing event.
The fighters will have fights in two (2) classes that are: Junior Class (Under-16) and Youth Class (Undaer-18). The fights in Junior Class will be contested in eight (8) different weight categories that includes: 44 KG, 46 KG, 48 KG, 50 KG, 52 KG, 54 KG, 57 KG and 60 KG while in Youth Class, the fights will be conducted in ten(10) different weight categories of 49 KG, 52 KG, 56 KG, 60 KG, 64 KG, 69 KG, 75 KG 81 KG, 91 KG and +91 KG.
Fighters in their respective categories will be seen competing against each other so as to earn top honors in the event. The Karachi Boxing Team will be selected out of this championship.
Weight and Draws will be taken on Tuesday - 26th February 2019 starting from 03:00 PM and will continue till 05:00 PM while the competitions will be contested the next day starting from 02:00 PM sharp at Ustad Ali Muhammad Qambrani Boxing Stadium (MABC).
