Sarah Mahboob win Subh-e-Nau NBP Ladies National tennis Tournament 2019
Sarah Mahboob Khan added yet another feather to her cap as she clinched SN NBP Ladies National Tennis title here at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad.
Sarah Mahboob Khan added yet another feather to her cap as she clinched SN NBP Ladies National Tennis title here at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad.
In title game, she defeated Sara Mansoor, who was number one player of the tournament. Sarah Mahboob looked in sublime form in and won title match in straight sets. Earlier she defeated Zoha Asim in a hard fought contest in Semifinal of the same category. Sara Mansoor qualified for final after beating Shimza Naz.
Earlier, Sarah Mahboob Khan pairing with Sara Mansoor clinched Ladies Doubles title after beating Esha JAwad and Mahvish Chishtie. Shimza Naz of Lahore won Girls U-18 title after beating Zoha Asim in a match which lasted for more than 2 hours and concluded latter's retirement due to injury.
Eight years old Haniya Mihnas completed double crown as she won Girls U-14 title by beating Amna Ali. Earlier on Friday evening , she had clinched Girls U-10 title as well.
Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, President Pakistan Tennis Federation, distributed medals and certificates among players after Ladies Singles final. speaking on the occasion, he appreciated SN for back to back exclusive ladies tennis events and said that PTF fully supports its activities. Subh-e-Nau Chairperson Shahida Kauar Farooq, former Member National Assembly Humayun Saifullah Khan were also present on this occasion.
