Binoria Club to face Usman Club in Kashmir Basketball Cup 2019 finale
Usman Club and Binoria Club are the two finalist that will bid for the trophy of Kashmir Basketball Cup 2019 at the Arambagh Basketball Courts in Karachi.
The first semi-final match witnessed Binoria Club over powering Burns Road Gymkhana by their stunning performance on the court as the team defeated the opponents on a close call of 35-30 score.
The winning team’s boys managed to reach the final stage of the tournament by their talented player’s tremendous efforts at their ball control and accurate shooting skills as Syedi made 25 points along with Seefa and Ishtiaq who scored 5 points each.
For the losing side, Asad Hafeez, Bilal Khan and Raheel Mubeen all scored eight points each but even with their hard efforts they could not earn their team the place in the final of the tournament.
The other semi-final encounter saw Usman Club's win once again, this time over the host, Arambagh Club in a thrilling hard fought match on 45-40 score line. Th struggle was real of both the teams as he players from either sides were making equal efforts to name the victory but Shariq of Usman Club came out to stand with scoring most point i.e. 19 along with Faizan Yousuf who dubbed perfect 9 shots into the basket and Hamza Perwani and Daniyal Khan contributed with 6 and 5 points, respectively.
The loser team struggled against the strong opponent side but even then with Hasan Ali making it to the basket for 16 points, Saad and Asad Hafeez with their 8 points each, the players were unable to book place in the final of the tournament.
The 2019 Kashmir Basketball Cup is being organized by Karachi Basketball Association (KBBA) in collaboration with Pakistan Sports Welfare Association in two different categories of seniors and juniors.
KBBA President, Ghulam Mohammad will be the honorable chief guest who will witness the final of Kashmir Basketball Cup 2019 that will be played at 04:30 PM today at Arambagh Courts in Karachi.
