2019 Regional Kabaddi Tournament rescheduled
A total of four (4) teams will take part in this three-day Regional Kabaddi Tournament 2019 that will begin its proceedings now from 1st March and will continue till 3rd March at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.
Due to some reason which has not been told so far, The Regional Kabaddi Tournament was postponed and now have been rescheduled to be staged from 1st to 3rd March.
The Regional Kabaddi Tournament into the current year will be organized by Regional Police Office and Divisional Kabaddi Association Faisalabad which will be featuring a total of four (4) different Kabaddi teams belonging from various regions.
Participating teams includes: RPO Alveen, Commissioner Alveen, Sandaal Alveen and Lalpur Alveen. Kabaddi players belonging from their respective teams will be competing with all their skill and passion for the sport in the upcoming matches so as to win the ultimate title of the tournament.
Kabaddi is the sport which is gaining rapid roots world wide and is considered one of the major sports in the world regardless of it's origin. This game is played between two teams on opposite halves of a field or court. Individual players take turns crossing onto the other team’s side, repeating “kabaddi - kabaddi” (or an alternate chant); points are scored by tagging as many opponents as possible without being caught or taking a breath before returning to one’s home territory. Indigenous to South Asia, kabaddi is also known as hu-tu-tu in Western India, gudu in Sri Lanka, and theechub in Thailand.
