Shiza, Shahida, Sheeza move into 2nd round of NBP Ladies National Tennis 2019
Shiza, Sheeza and Shahida defeated their opponents to advance into second round of Ladies singles category of NBP Ladies National Tennis 2019 at PTF Tennis Courts, Islamabad.
NBP Ladies National Tennis 2019 started where first day matches were affected by continuous drizzle in the city here at PTF Tennis Courts, Islamabad. Only four matches could be completed in Ladies singles and Girls U-14.
Being organized by Subh-e-Nau, first match of the tournament was played between Shiza and Zoya Ahsan where young Shiza produced a skillful game to move into the second round with the final score line of 6-4, 6-2.
In the second match, Sheeza Sajid defeated Alia Usman after a good contest between relatively new players as Sheeza move into second round with the final score line of 6-1, 6-0. Shahida Farooq moved to second round of this category with walkover against Adela Miron.
Sara Khan of Girls U-14 played well to down her opponent Mahnoor Farooqui in first match of this category while Zara Khan defeated Mahrukh Farooqui in a well contested 3 set match of this category. Remaining matches first round matches of all categories will be played today (Wednesday).
