Sara Mansoor & Sarah Mehboob to feature in NBP Ladies National Tennis Tournament 2019
All is set for NBP Ladies National Tennis Tournament which kicks off at Syed Dilawar Abbas Tennis Complex Tennis Courts Islamabad from tomorrow (Tuesday) featuring top female tennis players from all over the country.
All is set for NBP Ladies National Tennis Tournament which kicks off at Syed Dilawar Abbas Tennis Complex Tennis Courts Islamabad from tomorrow (Tuesday) featuring top female tennis players from all over the country.
The event is being organized by well-known tennis organization Subh-e-Nau sponsored by National Bank of Pakistan (SN). Players are taking part in this event in five different categories which are Ladies Singles, Ladies Doubles, Girls U-18, Girls U-14 and Girls U-10.
Players like Sara Mansoor, Sarah Mahboob and others will be seen in in action on first day. Sara Mansoor, a leading national tennis player, has made history by becoming Pakistan’s first female International Tennis Federation (ITF) Level-2 coach of the country.
Sara Mansoor, who started playing tennis at the age of 13, had also led the national women’s tennis team at the Asian Indoor Games held recently in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
In 2011, she along with Sarah Mahboob Khan, Ushan Suhai and Saba Aziz made history as Pakistan re-entered the Fed Cup competition after a decade of absence.
First round matches of Ladies Singles will be played at 9:30 am followed by Girls U-18 at 12:00. This exclusive ladies tennis event will continue till Saturday 16th February.
