Rawalpindi born Furqan is getting training in Bradford, England for many years.
Cheema, who has been on quite a run in his amateur career with a record of 9 wins and 1 loss and also boxing record of 2-0-0, said he does know about his opponent and expecting a good stand up fight, both fighters come from a striking background. Cheema opponent is a former bare knuckle and boxing title holder. The Cheemas are in involves in the combat scene from brothers to Father. They also own a professional and amateur boxing gym based in Dewsbury named KBW (Khalid Bin Waleed), which has produced many champions.
"Dan is a good boxer, so one could expect some good boxing in this fight. However, don't blink as this fight may fall into a quick finish or a long standing trade." Furqan said.
“I can’t wait, it is going to be a battle,” Furqan further added.
About the fight, Furqan has no doubt that there will be fireworks. Cheema is not under estimating his opponent and is going to focus on his own game plan to produce his win.
The 28-year-old also spoke about his training camp saying that it was all going smooth. “The fight camp is going very well at KBW, Team Hanson and Gracie Barra. We have all the tools to win. I believe in all my coaches and got the best people around me alongside team mates, I will give my 100 percent he said. This is just start of a journey InshAllah.
