Former Pakistan woman team captain, Sana Mir has become the first Asian Woman to play 100 International T20 games.
Former Pakistan women team captain, Sana Mir, has become the first Asian woman to play 100 international T20 games.
Mir, who recently turned 33, has been representing Pakistan since 2005 and remains one of the most senior players in the dugout.
Sana achieved this feat while representing the country against West Indies in the third and final T20 played in Karachi.
"Every match for Pakistan is a wonderful opportunity and a big responsibility."Sana said.
"All I can say that I have been privileged to represent Pakistan for so long and have given my best in every match for my country with best of my ability." Sana further added.
This is indeed a remarkable achievement as Mir is only the 6th women from around the globe to get to 100 T20s.
Daendra Dottin, a West Indies player, is at the top of the list with a total of 110 T20Is.
