BVS Parsi High School dominates 20th Inter School Scrabble Championship

The 20th edition of Inter School Scrabble Championship came to a successful end with the host, BVS Parsi High School winning the top spot at BVS Parsi High School in Saddar, Karachi.

The much awaited 20th Inter-School Scrabble Championship that featured around 1400 players who registered themselves for the two day tournament making it one of the largest scrabble tournaments in the world concluded successfully yesterday.

Players from 100 schools from all over Pakistan participated from which the players were seen competing with their full knowledge so as to earn tops positions in the championship and these players were placed in categories according to their age.

Players from BVS Parsi High School etched their name on the top spot as they won A category with 2 wins and absolutely dominated the B category and also marked 1-1 win in D and E categories. While Beaconhouse and Happy Home O Level School led with 2 and 2 wins in different categories whereas Army Public School - Faisal, Generation's School, Hamdard Public School and Arts and Science Academy have won once in different categories.

Mr. Tariq Pervez, the tournament director distributed the prizes among the high achievers of the championship.
