Top seed Ahsan Ayaz secure Runner-up spot of $5,500 Savcor Finnish Open 2019

Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz secured the second place of $5,500 Savcor Finnish Open 2019 as Miko Aijanen of Finland defeated Ahsan by 3-1 at Mikkeli Finland.

Former World No.1 junior Ahsan Ayaz is the most exciting young talent from Pakistan as the top seed Ahsan secured the second place of $5,500 Savcor Finnish Open 2019 where Miko Aijanen of Finland defeated Ahsan by 3-1 in the title clash at Mikkeli Finland. 

Earlier, Top seed Ahsan overpowered Yuri Farneti of Italy 11-8, 9-11, 5-11, 11-6, 11-6 in 61 minutes in the semis. 

In the title clash, Pakistani youngster tried to tire his opponent and hit well in the decision-making places as he simply toyed with Miko and kept him under tremendous pressure right throughout to win the first game by 11-2. 

The winner of 2016 Malaysian Tour IV Championship Ahsan faced fair bit of resistance against English player as 22-years old Miko showed top quality squash to win the second game at 8-11.

In the third game where both players tried hard to rule the day  but after the tough battle Miko won the game by 6-11.

More experienced player of Finland continue his aggressive play to win the fourth game at 9-11 and the title of $5,500 Savcor Finnish Open 2019 at Mikkeli Finland.

Peshawar born Ahsan with a unique and exciting brand of attacking squash is following an illustrious career and is coached by Victor Monserrat at the Barcelona Squash Academy. 

Ahsan, ranked 100th, is the winner of 2016 Malaysian Tour IV Championship and ISAM Pro Open 2016. Ahsan, who played 11 events in 2018, will next appear in the $5000 Cronimet Swedish Squash Open in March where he is the top seed.
