Pakistan to feature in Arnold Classic South America Mas-Wrestling 2019
Pakistan is all set to participate in the 2019 Arnold Classic South America Mas-Wrestling which will be staged from 12 to 14 April at Sao Paulo in Brazil.
The Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival in the United States of America takes place in late February and early March at the same place annually which attracts tens of thousands of fans of different sports.
This year, the world's largest multisports event will bring together 22,000 athletes from 60 countries to compete in 80 sports.
Mas-Wrestling is included in the official program of the festival for the 5th time under the supervision of Mr. Odd Haugen, Vice President of the International Mas-Wrestling Federation.
Mas-Wrestlers from 11 countries of the world namely: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Hungary, Georgia, Germany, Canada, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and various states of the United States have already submitted applications for participation and wrestlers from their respective states will be seen competing against each other to win the ultimate title of this international mega wrestling event.
Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation is still accepting applications for Arnold Classic South America Mas-Wrestling under 6 different weight categories for men and 5 for women wrestlers.
Weight categories are as under:
Men: 60 KG, 70 KG, 80 KG, 90 KG, 105 KG and 105+
KG
Women: 55 KG, 65 KG, 75 KG, 85 KG and 85+ KG
