Abbas Saadi stands 7th in Paris Open Karate Premier League 2019
Ghulam Abbas Saadi secured 7th spot out of several top Karatekas who participated in Paris Open Karate Premier League 2019 which was staged from 25 to 27 January in Paris, France.
The set of competitors engaged in this 2019 edition of the Open Paris Karate - Premier League was once again exceptional with more than 750 registered karatekas, both in individual and team, and 80 nations entered, the Paris stage of the Premier League circuit launched the foundation for a 2019 year and the Olympic perspective will take on even more importance in future.
Among the nations that had the most representatives were, Japan (54) being ahead of Italy (50) and France (47 of whom 20 with the France team), follow Egypt (28) and Spain (28), Iran (25) and the United States (24).
The 2019 edition of the Open Paris Karate - Premier League was held over 3 days on Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th January at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin. The first two days of competition were dedicated to the playoffs to the semi-finals and repechage, while Sunday was dedicated to the bronze medal matches and the finals of the competition.
Pakistan's Ghulam Abbas Saadi, yet again, made the country proud by securing 7th position in his weight category of Male -75 KG among the world's top 100 karate fighters. In a facebook post he said,
"Allhmduliha finished PARIS OPEN with 7th position out of world top 100 players, I will learn from my mistakes and hope that I will improve more for the upcoming championship - 2020 Olympic qulification."
He also paid special thanks to Yavuz Karamollao?lu for amazing training camp in Turkey which helped him in proving his skills and also to his coach Okay Arpa and to Aness Ajk Oumair Rjt Junaid RJ Adam Rca for cheering and motivating me throughout championship.
