20th Inter School Scrabble Championship from 2nd Feb.
The Inter School Scrabble Championshipto 2019 is all set to begin from 2nd February and will continue till 3rd February and it will be held at BVS Parsi High School in Saddar, Karachi.
Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA) is organizing Inter School Scrabble Championship for the 20th time which is an individual event and players from schools, colleges and universities are all are eligible to participate in this championship.
Players will be divided into 10 different age categories which will be placed in 2 separate groups of A and B.
GROUP A:
CATEGORY A: (players born on or after 1-Jan-2011 to 31st Dec 2012)
CATEGORY B: (players born on or after 1-Jan-2010 to 31st Dec 2010)
CATEGORY C: (players born on or after 1-Jan-2009 to 31st Dec 2009)
CATEGORY D (players born on or after 1-Jan-2008 to 31st Dec 2008)
CATEGORY E (players born on or after 1-Jan-2007 to 31st Dec 2007)
GROUP B
:
CATEGORY F (players born on or after 1-Jan-2006 to 31st Dec 2006)
CATEGORY G (players born on or after 1-Jan-2005 to 31st Dec 2005)
CATEGORY H (players born on or after 1-Jan-2004 to 31st Dec 2004)
CATEGORY I (players born on or after 1-Jan-2002 to 31st Dec 2003)
CATEGORY D (players born on or after 1-Jan-1998 to 31st Dec 2001)
Group A matches will be played on 2nd February while group B matches will be contested on 3rd February. Reporting time at the venue has been set as 09:30 AM sharp and the games will start from 11:00 AM and will end at 06:00 PM on each day.
Whereas prize distribution ceremony will be held at 06:30 PM on both days in which trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each category.
Participation fee is 800 per player, which should be submitted along with the entry from by cash, cheque, pay order in favor of Pakistan Scrabble Association and the entry form can be downloaded through PSA's office website "www.pakistanscrabble.org".
