Islamabad Jinns thrash Lahore Hawks 32-0 in 6th Servis Tyres 15s Rugby Championship
Islamabad Jinns outplayed Lahore Hawks by 32-0 and won the important league match in 6th Servis Tyres 15s Rugby Championship - League Division I match here at Lahore Pakistan Rugby Academy Ground, Lahore Cantonment.
Islamabad, the favorite team of Division I started their campaign with an amazing try scored by Moiz in 5th minute of first half. Saad Arif scored another in 10th minute for Jinns to which Ali Khan scored another try to further enhanced their lead in the 24th minute. In the last moments of the first half Saad Arif beautified his run and scored another try and at the half time Islamabad team was leading by 20-0.
In second half , Saad Arif and Shoaib each scored a try and their tries were successfully converted by Kashif Khwaja that finished the match in Islamabad team's favor as they won the encounter by 32-0. Saad Arif was the best player for Islamabad Jinns who scored three good tries.
Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) officials, Head coach, Shakeel Malik, Rugby Servis' Manager, Syed Mozzam Ali Shah, Accounts head, Muhammad Asim and many rugby players also witness the match.
Pakistan Rugby Union has organized its main premier event of the year in its sixth edition this time and the event has been named as “6th Servis Tyres 15s Rugby Championship” as Servis Tyres are the title sponsors of this event.
A total of 15 teams are battling it out for the ultimate title gain in the championship and these teams are divided into four different divisions from which Quetta and Karachi are the new participating teams.
