Karachi Chaman Boxing Series 2019 commences tomorrow
Pugilists will compete in 11 different weight categories in the Karachi Chaman Goodwill Boxing Series 2019 which are all set to begin from tomorrow and will continue till 16th January at 5 different venues within Karachi.
All District Boxing Associations of Karachi division's Presidents and Secretaries were informed by General Secretary, Sindh Boxing Association, Muhammad Asghar Ali that Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) in collaboration with Baluchistan Boxing Association is organizing the first ever Karachi Chaman Goodwill Boxing Series in which they are to prepare their respective boxers who will participate in this 5 day series.
The first day of the series will have the matches conducted at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Comunitee Hall while the second day fights will be contested at Ustad Muhammad Sattoo Boxing Stadium. The other venues include, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Boxing Club, Ustad Ali Muhammad Qambrani Boxing Stadium (MABC) and Ustad Abdullah Baloch Boxing Stadium (PNBC) People's Sports Complex, respective to the remaining days.
The series will be having fights in three different categories of Juniors, Youth and Senior Classes in which several fighters will be seen competing against each other so as to earn top honors in the championship.
Eleven (11) different weight categories include: 46 KG, 48 KG, 50 KG and 52 KG for Junior class while 49 KG, 52 KG, 56 KG, 60 KG, 64 KG, 69 KG and 75 KG for both Youth and Senior classes.
Each day the bouts will start at 02:30 PM sharp.
