Top seeds Abid & Heera in quarters of Servaid Punjab Open Tennis Championship 2019
Top seed including Muhammad Abid and Heera Ashiq advanced to the quarterfinals Men’s singles event of the Servaid Punjab Open Tennis Championship at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association, Lahore.
Servaid Punjab Open Tennis Championship continue in full swing where top seed including Muhammad Abid and Heera Ashiq advanced to the quarterfinals Men’s singles event while the first-round matches in the under-18 and under-16 categories started at the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association, Lahore.
In the men’s singles pre-quarterfinals, Mohammad Abid played exceptionally well against Zaryab Pirzada and toppled him by 2-0. Abid started well and put Zaryab under pressure right from the word go to take the first set by 6-2. He kept on putting pressure on his rival in the second set as well and won it by same margin of 6-2, thus registered an impressive victory and also booked berth in the quarterfinals.
Heera Ashiq showed quality tennis skills to advanced into the quarterfinals as Heera led the charge with 6-0, 6-0 by thrashing Salman Ayaz.
