Pakistan's last hope in boy's singles, Hassan Ali overpowered Kakajan Bayramgeldiyev of Turkmenistan by 2-0 to move into the quarterfinal with the final score line of 7-5 6-2 in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
Earlier, Unseeded Hassan Ali caused the major upset as he surprised second seed Hossain Md Roman of Bangladesh to booked berth into the pre-quarterfinal by 2-0 with the final score line of 6-4, 6-4.
Unseeded Hassan will now face fifth seed Mohammad Alkotop of Jordan on 10 January.
In the boys doubles, 4th seeded pair of Hamid Israr Gul & Hossain Md Roman thrashed Turkmenistan's pair of Iskandar Myradov Selim Pirjikov to move into the quarterfinals with the final score line of 6-0, 6-1.
Hamid Israr Gul & Hossain will now meet sixth seeded Temirlan Bekdyldaev & Insar Karypbekov of Kyrgyzstan.
The only young girl form Pakistan Sheeza Sajid paired with Erkhbilguun Byarbaya of Mongolia overpowered pair of Bhutan Karma Yuden Dorji & Sonam Chuki Dorji by 2-0. PAK-MGL pair move into the quarterfinal with the final score line of 6-3,6-1.
Earlier, Sheeza Sajid lost to fifth seed Isha Shree Shah of Nepal by 1-6, 1-6 in the first round of Girls singles.
Four Pakistani player Hassan Ali, [10] Hamid Israr Gul, Muhammad Huzaifa Khan, Sheeza Sajid are participating in the Under 14 Division II Asian tournament at Bangkok, Thailand.
The countries participating are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
