Inter-Provincial U-19 Hockey Championship to commence from 20th Jan.
As many as 12 teams are taking part in this 10-day Inter-Provincial Under-19 Hockey Championship which will roll into action from 20th January and will continue till 30th Januray at Abdul Sattar Hockey Stadium in Karachi.
The Inter-Provincial Under-19 Hockey Championship is being organized by Sindh Hockey Association (SHA) of which Ramzan Jamali will be the organizing secretary taking care of all the necessary arrangements into the championship.
This championship is featuring a total of 12 teams from all over the country from which players belonging to their respective teams will be seen competing against each other so as to win the ultimate title of the championship.
Participating teams include 3 teams from Punjab, 2 each from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1 from Baluchistan, and 1 each from Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit- Baltistan and FATA are to vie in this championship.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has issued directives to SHA to make complete arrangements for the event.
Players born on January 1st, 2000, or after are eligible to take part in the championship. PHF has established a committee to conduct age verification which is headed by the Olympian, Shahid Ali Khan.
The players have been directed to have their identity cards or NADRA’s Form B for age verification.
