500 Athletes to feature in Deputy Commissioner Sports Gala 2019 from 10th Jan
More than 500 athletes will participate from all over KP province in the Deputy Commissioner Sports Gala at Hayatabad sports complex, Peshawar Sports Complex Qayum Stadium and Arbab Niaz Stadium from 10th -13th January.
The Badders Club in collaboration with Directorate of Sports KP is organizing the first edition of Deputy Commissioner Sports Gala 2019 at two different venues including Hayatabad sports complex, Peshawar Sports Complex Qayum Stadium and Arbab Niaz Stadium from 10th-13th January.
More than 500 athletes from all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province will participate in the mega tournmanet. The event to be contested includes Badminton, Football, Taekwondo and Table Tennis.
Addressing to a News Conference, DC Peshawar Mr. Dr.Imran Hamid Sheikh along with ADC Peshawar Shahid Khan and Director National Book Foundation Mr. Murad Ali Mohmand.
"Local District Government is keen to promote sports in the province and in that scenario a sports gala is organized which is sponsored by DHA Peshawar and Directorate of Sports." Deputy Commissioner said!.
Badders Club Hayatabad is providing all the technical and administrative assistance to that event.
General Secretary Badders Club Murad Ali Mohmand , Director NBF and General Secretary also briefed the media about the upcoming sports Gala and also shows his interest to arrange and organize National events too, so that Kids and young generation should be motivated in the shape of sports events. He thanked Director General Sports KP , Mr. Junaid Khan for his constant support towards sports.
Sports personalities Mr. Riaz Khan (Information Secretary) , Asad Ghaffar, Syed Shahzad , waqar Afridi and Ibrahim Khan was also present on this occasion.
