Asiam seal first 2019 win along Santiago, move into quarters of Qatar ExxonMobil Open
Pakistani tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq secured first win in 2019, with his Mexican Teammate Santiago Gonzalez as they move into quarter final of Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2019 in Qatar, Doha.
Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi & Santiago González easily defeated Italian pair of Marco Cecchinato & Andreas Seppi by 2-0 in 55 minutes battle to move into the quarterfinal of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, held at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Qatar, Doha.
In 27 minutes struggle of opening set, both the pair started the match on a positive note as they hold their serves while PAK-Mexican pair gave tough time to Italian pair with some good serving as they gave away no easy points on their serve and built pressure on the opposition which resulted as they easily break forth serve to seal the first set by 6-3.
In the second set Aisam & Santiago gave hard time to Marco & Andreas pair as they breezed to 4-2 while winning the 2nd and 4th serve of Italian pair to win the match and the set at 6-2 in just 28 minutes.
Today, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi & Santiago González will face Marton Fucsovics & Guido Pella at 9:00 pm (PST) in the quarterfinal of Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2019.
