Pakistan Mas-Wrestling Federation (PMWF) in joint efforts with International Mas-Wrestling Fedeation (IMWF) organized the second edition of Kyrgyz Ambassador National Mas-Wrestling Championship which featured a total of 40 women and 70 men wrestlers belonging from South Punjab, Central Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, FATA, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit and Islamabad.
The fighters were seen competing against each other with their full power, stamina and strength so as to win the ultimate title of the championship.
Wrestlers belonging from Punjab secured the most point - 49 to claim the trophy of the championship while Islamabad made it to the second spot with their 44 points in total.
Shoaib Butt and Amna Rasheed both hailing from Lahore were declared the best players of the championship while Shanza, Aneesha, Zoha, Anna Rasheed and Fatima Riasat were the women winners of the championship. Wali Azam, Shafqat, Aurangzaib, Ahsan, Tanveer, Talha and Shoaib Butt won in the Men’s category at the top spot and bagged one-one gold medal each.

The event was graced by Mr. Erik Beshiembiev, Ambassador of Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as a chief guest in the presence of Brig (R) Azam Effendi, Bashir Ahmed Khan, SSP Prison, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Minister, Khalid Khan, Registrar PU, Mrs Tahira, Director Sports PU.
