Pakistan tennis ace Aqeel & Aisam in semis of Hassan Tariq Rahim Masters Cup Tennis Tournament 2018

Pakistan’s top seed Aqeel Khan earned victories in both men’s singles and doubles in the fourth Hassan Tariq Rahim Masters Cup (Invitational) Tennis Tournament here at Lahore Gymkhana.
The 38-year-old Aqeel then taught a lesson to Abid Ali Akbar as the former romped home 6-1, 6-1 for his second win of the day.
The star pair of Aisam and Aqeel toyed with the pair of Muzammil Murtaza and Mudassir Murtaza. The only achievement for the losing pair was that they somehow won five points against the country’s stars.
However, the experience and superiority of Asiam and Aqeel ended in 6-3 and 6-2 win. The second doubles match had Heera Ashiq and Abdul Haider winning the match in almost the same fashion Asiam and Aqeel got with score being 6-3 and 6-1.
In men’s singles matches, Ahmed Chaudhry overpowered Heera Ashiq 6-4, 7-5; Muzammil Murtaza had a walkover against Shamael Chaudhry, who failed to turn up and Mohammad Abid subdued Mohammad Shoaib 6-4, 6-1.
In the ladies section, Sara Mansoor beat Mehak Khokhar 6-2, 6-3, Pakistan’s number one Ushna Suhail outplayed Noor Malik 6-2, 6-0 and Sara Mahboob defeated Shunza Naz Durab 6-1, 6-1.
In boys’ U-18, Mohammad Shoaib beat Ahmed Kamil 6-0, 6-3; Nauman Aftab got the better of Shehryar Ahmed 6-2, 6-0 and Abdullah Adnan downed Taimur Saleem 6-4, 6-3.
