Muhammad Bilal & Majid Ali in IBSF 6 Red World Snooker Championship 2018 Knockout phase
Pakistan's Muhammad Bilal and Muhamad Majid Ali cruised into the knockout round of IBSF 6 Red World Snooker Championship 2018 at Marsa Alam, Egypt.
After three days gruelling round-robin matches of World 6Reds matches,Pakistan top cueists Muhammad Bilal and Muhamad Majid Ali cruised into the knockout round where they will play single elimination round in the title race of IBSF 6 Red World Snooker Championship 2018 at Marsa Alam, Egypt.
The Mandi Bahauddin-based cueist Bilal was in brilliant form as 33-years-old Pakistani overpowered Matthew Roberts of Wales by 4-0. Bilal exhibited quality potting to score almost from everywhere as he put a shiny start to win the first frame by 32-01.
Former Pakistan’s National Champion Bilal continue playing aggressively and made his intentions clear from the first frame itself where he sieged Matthew and leaving no chance for him to recover as Bilal seals the second frame by 41-15. Bilal showed some potting skills and captured the third frame with a break of 30 points at 39-15 and didn’t allowed his opponent to play freely.
Bilal continued with his tactics and constantly besieged Matthew to win next frames by a break of 30 points at 39-15. Bilal countered him very well and maintained his lead to win last frame and third encounter with a marvelous break of 72 points at 76-0 to register 4-0 win.

In another encounter, Pakistan’s Muhammad Majid Ali blazed all his guns and placed many good snookers but 25-years-old Majid lost to Mohammed Al Joaker of UAE by 4-1 with the final score line of 5-35, 40-0, 42-17, 49-14, 30-13. Muhamad Majid Ali cruised into the knockout round as he stood at second spot of Group AC with two wins.
Mohamed Shehab from UAE, Passakorn Suwannawat & Thanawat Thirapongpaeboon from Thailand and Himanshu Jain of India remained most successful with no frame lose and grabbed top four slots to reach directly into Last-32 stage. Rest of the players will play a round before and the winners will enter into Last-32.
