Sindh crown champions of Sindh Baluchistan Friendly Open Boxing Series 2018
Sindh Baluchistan Friendly Open Boxing Series 2018 came to a successful end with Sindh boxers winning the championship at Chaman and Peshen, Baluchistan.
Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) and Baluchistan Boxing Association (BBA) jointly organized the three-day Sindh Baluchistan Friendly Open Boxing Series 2018 which concluded successfully with Sindh boxers claiming the trophy of the series by showing their best of fight skills.
This series was open to men and women equally and as a result several male and female boxers from all over Sindh and Baluchistan participated in this series. Various matches were conducted between the fighters who were all seen competing against each other so as to earn top honors in the championship.
Matches were conducted in Junior category of 44 KG to 60 KG and Senior category of 49 KG to +91 KG in which Sindh boxers defeated the hosts Baluchistan in Seniors category while the host city Baluchistan managed to win over Sindh in the Juniors category.
Pakistan Olympic Association President, Malik Fazal Awan was the honorable chief guest along with Director Pakistan Sports Board, Chaudry Imran Yousaf, Baluchistan Boxing Federation President, Sadiq Achakzai, Pakistan Olympic Association General Secretary, Sheikh Muhammad Tareen and Judo Association Women President, Mehosh and Madam Dilshad, who also distributed trophies and medals to the winners of the series.
Pakistan Olympic Association President, Malik Fazal Awan at the concluding ceremony said that there is a lot of talent in Baluchistan’s young players and they can prove their skills on national as well as international platforms easily but the issue is only with the opportunities and facilities for them.
