Army destroys KPT 5-0 in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League

PAF crushes Navy 3-0 while Army trashed KPT 5-0 in the Karachi phase matches of Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 which is being played at KMC, KPT and KB grounds in Karachi.

Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) were battling for the win in the first match of the day in which once again PAF boys proved their talent and came out stronger than ever as they crushed the opponents on a 3-0 score-line.

Muhammad Mujahid and Sohail Khan of PAF were on the run from the moment match started as they took advantage of the low goal keeping and less speed of Navy players and slotted the ball in the enemy net just in the 3rd and 5th minute. Whereas, this 2-0 lead for PAF did not seem enough for them and they further enhanced their lead to 3-0 through Muhammad Arif Nawaz in the dying moments of the game which left no room for Navy players to get out of the pressure imposed on them by the winning team.

In the second encounter, Army tremendously wrapped up their win with a 5 goals lead over Karachi Port Trust’s (KPT) no goal at all as they scored three goals in the first half through Umair Waqar, Mateen and Ansar Abbas in 14th, 17th and 45th minutes, respectively.

But Army did not stop just yet and played well with their players good ball control in the second half as well and did not let KPT footballers come any close to their goal post instead, slotted three more goals in the losing team’s net through Shabaz Younas in the 85th minute while Ansar Abbas once again scored in the 89th minute and finished the game with Army leading by 5-0.

In the third and last match for the day, WAPDA and KRL played a 1-1 draw. Usman Mansoor of WAPDA scored in just the 4th minute in the game while Ali from KRL equalized the score-line much later in the second half at the 53rd minute .
