Hafizabad claims SBP Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 Karate title
Hafizabad and Chishtian won the Karate and Wrestling titles in the on-going SBP Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 competitions which are being staged at different venues.
There were a total of 20 players who participated in the Karate event which was being organized at Gymnasium Hall in Hafizabad. Division Hafizabad boys Karate team bagged the title with their strong fighting skills against their rival team from tehsil Pindi Bhattian.
Whereas there were two Volleyball competitions conducted, the first in Narowal for girls and second in Multan for boys. In the first Volleyball event, Zafarwal girls beat Narowal and in the second, Boys’ Multan Sadar team marked their win over Multan City team.
While, the Wrestling crown went to Chistian at Gymnasium Hall in Bahawalnagar.
The Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 competitions are being organized throughout Punjab as per directives of Director General Sports Punjab, Nadeem Sarwar and the competitions are continued across the province in full swing in which players belonging to their respective city teams are showing their skills in different sports.
