PAF & NBP teams shine in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League
PAF thumped KPT 3-0 while NBP beat Muslim FC 2-1 in Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 which is being played at KPT, KMC and KB grounds in Karachi.
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Karachi Port Trust (KPT) teams were battling for the win in the first match of the day in which as expected, PAF team marked a convincing 3-0 win.
Absolutely stunning shot was made by PAF’s Samad Khan in the 36th minute which ended the first half with PAF leading 1-0. From the start of the second half till the end of the match, PAF never gave away their possession of the ball to KPT players and scored again in the 62nd minute to further extend their lead through once again by Sammad Khan.
Whereas Muhammad Faisal slotted the third and last goal for PAF in the dying moments of the match and earned his team an easy 3-0 win in the game.
In the other encounter, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Muslim Football Club teams had bossed possession equally in the match but it was the losing team’s side who goal first in the match through Qudrat Ullah in the 32nd minute and till the end of the first half, Muslim FC was leading with a 1-0 score-line.
Just when it seemed like a win for Muslim FC, NBP boys made a huge comeback at the 65th minute and leveled the score-line as 1-1 by Adnan Nazar. But NBP players were not ready to hold Muslim FC team in an equal draw and let Maqbool – the star of the match, do his job, who did not disappoint his team and attained the victory in the game by slamming the winning goal in the 80th minute of the match.
Today, only one match will be played, in which Sui Northern Gas Pipelines (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Companies (SSGC) football teams at 03:00 PM in Korangi Baloch ground in Karachi.
