Navy, PAF, WAPDA, PCAA & K-Electric attain wins in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League

Navy, PAF, WAPDA, PCAA & K-Electric thrashed their respective opponents in Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 which is being played at KPT and KMC grounds, Karachi.

 
Navy football team registered an amazing 6-1 win over Baloch FC although it was Baloch FC who were seen leading and running more strength-fully in the match as Aurangzeb put Baloch FC ahead in just the 5th minute. But Navy did not stay behind longer and score the first goal 8 minutes later through Mohammad Amin. From then on Navy did not allow BFC’s players to mark goals for their side any longer and kept coming with more goals by Hafiz Hassan Faiz, Asif Bakhsh, Hassan and Sajjad Ahmed and finally won the match. 

In the other encounter, PAF trashed Afghan FC on a 3-0 score-line. Muhammad Mujahid was the key players for their win as he score thrice in the game in the 18th, 78th and 86th minute.

Whereas the strong WAPDA team marked a convincing 2-0 win over KPT with Mohammad Bilal who scored just at the first half whistle below and then the winning goal by Zubair Qadeer in the dying moments of the match. While NBP held Army in a 1-1 draw in the other game.

In more matches played, PAK CAA warned a hard fought victory against SNGPL 1-0 in their match in which Saeed was the sole player to net the ball in SNGPL’s net at stroke of half –time making PAK CAA team win the game.

Yesterday, K-Electric was also successful to come out much stronger through Murtaza Hassan who provided them the lead against Navy in the 34th minute of the match. Skipper Muhammad Rasool doubled the lead through a solid strike in the 45th minute and then Riaz hit goals in the 75th minute and at the injury time to earn his team the victory of the game. However, Hafiz Hasan Faiz scored the consolation goal for.

In the other encounter of the day, KRL also win over Baloch FC by 2-0.

Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has released further schedule of the marathon. It was expected that the league would end on December 8 due to the prevailing situation of football which is expected to face international sanctions in the wake of the Supreme Court decision to hold the elections of the federation in a month’s time. The Returning Officer appointed for the purpose has already announced the PFF elections which will take place tomorrow in Islamabad.
