Awais, Rabia, Rehman and Nighat sparkle in 4th Bahria Cup Punjab Archery Championship

About 60 Men and Women archers from all over Punjab participated in this one-day Bahria Cup Punjab Archery Championship 2018 which concluded successfully at Bahria Archery Range, Bahria Town, Lahore.

Bahria Town Sports Wing with the collaboration of Punjab Archery Association organized the fourth edition of Bahria Cup Punjab Archery Championship that came to a successful finish with several archers marking their wins in their respective shooting categories.

About 60 men and women archers were seen competing in the competitions belonging from 9 different cities which includes: Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Gujranwal, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha and Dera Ghazi Khan. The competitions were held as per the rules of Pakistan Archery Federation (PAF).

This championship holded only the individual events in which there were 2 different shooting distances of 70 meters for all the archers while 30 meters distance for Punjab Divisions. The competitions started at 09:00 AM sharp and continued till 04:00 PM.

The first, second and third position holders were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals and trophies and certificates were given to all the players as well, as per their achievements and for participation in the championship.

Brig. (Rtd.) Khalil Ullah Butt, Executive Director, Bahria Town Lahore, were the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony of the event along with Manzar Shah Farid, President Punjab Archery Association, who was the Guest of Honor. Together they distribute trophies, medals and certificates among the archers.
