Bahria Cup Punjab Archery Championship from tomorrow
About 60 Men and Women archers from all over Punjab will take part in this one-day Bahria Cup Punjab Archery Championship 2018 which is scheduled to be contested tomorrow at Bahria Archery Range, Bahria Town in Lahore.
Punjab Archery Association (PAA) is organizing the one-day Bahria Cup Punjab Archery Championship 2018 which will have competitions conducted in both recurve men and women categories.
About 60 men and women archers will be seen competing in the competitions belonging from 9 different cities which includes: Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Gujranwal, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sargodha and Dera Ghazi Khan. The competitions will be held as per the rules of Pakistan Archery Federation (PAF).
This championship will be holding only the individual events in which there will be 2 different shooting distances of 70 meters for all the archers while 30 meters distance for Punjab Divisions. The competitions will start from 09:00 AM sharp and will continue till 04:00 PM while the closing ceremony of the championship will also be held at 04:00 PM sharp.
The first, second and third position holders will be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals and trophies and certificates will be given to all the players as well, as per their achievements and for participation in the championship.
Brig. (Rtd.) Khalil Ullah Butt, Executive Director, Bahria Town Lahore, will be Chief Guest on the closing ceremony of the event at 4:00 PM who will distribute trophies, medals and certificates among the archers.
Syed Manzar Shah, President Punjab Archery Association said that during the competition, archers will be selected for Punjab Archery Team as well.
