Farhan, Amaad, Zahir move into 2nd round of CNS International Squash Championship 2018
The first round of the $18,000 13th Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) International Squash Championship 2018 started at Pakistan Navy Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex, Fleet Club Saddar Karachi.

Rear Admiral Sajid Wazir Khan HI(M), GM (ENGG) KPT was the chief guest at the opening ceremony, while Jahangir Khan, Tournament Director Commodore Habib-ur-Rehman SI(M) and others were also present on the occasion.

On the first day of the championship eight matches were played, the inaugural match of the first round was played between Ammad Fareed of Pakistan and Rayyan Pasqual of Malaysia, where Ammad Fareed was declared winner of the match.
Farhan Zaman, Amaad Fareed, Zahir Shah, Hong Kong’s Henry Leung and Tsz Kwan Lau and Iran’s Sajad Zareian emerged as triumphant.
Farhan Zaman got the better of compatriot Khawaja Adil Maqbool 11-6, 11-5, 11-9 while Ammad Fareed inflicted a 11-6, 11-9, 11-8 defeat on Malaysian Ryan Pascal. Third Pakistani Zahir Shah cruised to 11-6, 15-13, 11-7 victory over Syed Ali Mujtaba Shah Bokhari.
