Pakistan's Mustafa to feature in Asian Classic Powerlifting Championships 2018
Mustafa will be representing Pakistan in Asian Classic Powerlifting Championships 2018 which is being held from 4th to 8th December in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia.
Asian Classic Powerlifting Championships are being staged under the auspices of Asian Powerlifting Federation in collaboration with the host country’s Mongolian United Powerlifting Federation, for which a Pakistan Powerlifting two-member team left for Ulaanbaatar Mongolia by Turkish Air yesterday to participate in the very championships.
These championships are featuring a total of 17 nations from which several powerlifters are all set to lock horns with each other to gain top honors in the championships. Participating countries include: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, India, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman and the hosts, Mongolia.
18 year old Mustafa Faran Baig is representing Pakistan in 93 KG sub-junior category with great hope to win a medal for Pakistan and the competition of 93 KG will be held today at 06:00 PM (Pakistan Standard Time). The other member who left with the player is his coach Mr. Rashed Malik.
Team will return to Pakistan on 12th December at 05:00 AM.
