NBP, KRL & PAF beat CAA, Muslim FC & WAPDA 3-2, 2-1 in 12th Pakistan Premier Football League
NBP, KRL and PAF defeated their rivals CAA, Muslim FC & WAPDA on a close call of 3-2 and 2-1 in Pakistan Premier Football League 2018 matches which were played KMC and KPT grounds in Karachi.
12th Pakistan Premier Football League Qila Qasim Bagh, Multan, Punjab Stadium, Lahore, KPT and KMC, Karachi.Four more matches were played yesterday in which a total of 8 teams compete for the win. In the first match played, SSGC and ARMY players tried their level best but were not able to score wins as all their attempts failed to land in each other’s goal post and thus the game finished in a goalless draw.
While in the second encounter, NBP bagged the win with netting 3 against PAK CAA’s which proved to a thrilling effort by the winning team. The game could have ended as a 2-2 draw as CAA team’s boys seemed to have much of the ball possession in the first half as their star Muhammad Naeem marked a goal in the 31st minute first time into the match and right after a minute, Muhammad Waheed doubled their advantage in the 32nd minute and the players went running with their two consecutive goals’ celebration in the ground.
But soon their happiness ended as Munir Ahmed from the opposite team slotted the ball in their net at the 34th minute and yet again through Maqbool in the 44th minute which made the score-line equal on 2-2 goals from either teams. The winning goal came through Akmal Shahzad in the 55th minute which ended the match in NBP team’s favor on a 3-2 score-line.
The third match saw Muslim FC’s fall to the leaders KRL on 1-2. KRL men were furious in their play but Muslim FC boys were also no less with their strong skills but KRL came out stronger than ever in the dying moments of the game as their hero for the match, Muhammad Shahid slammed the winning goal for his team in injury time and claimed the victory. However, KRL’s first score was made by Umair Ali in the starting at just the 12th minute into the match. Whereas, losing team’s consolatory goal was by Abdullah in the first half.
While the last mach of the day saw the spotlight on PAF again as PAF also won the match on a close call of 2-1 score-line. However, WAPDA players seen playing with their good efforts as always when Muhammad Ahmed opened the scoring tally for them in just the 6th minute into the game and PAF further did not make any progress to score in the entire first half as well as much of the second half but PAF’s 77th minute goal slotted by Mansoor Khan raised their hopes to win or even finish the match in a 1-1 draw but PAF team’s determination was too much to win and they did win through Muhammad Faisal’s 88th minute goal.
